| 지난 50여 년간, 세계는 소위 ‘대침체’, 즉, 생산성 둔화 기간을 주기적으로 겪어오고 있다. 크게 이것은 기술과 경제가 임계점을 넘어 새로운 경제를 창출할 때 발생하는 전환의 여파였다. 또 다른 원인은 1973년부터 시작된 에너지 비용 증가에 있다. 다행스럽게도 오늘날 북미 원유 및 가스 프래킹과 4세대 원자력 기술로 인해 저렴한 에너지에 대한 접근성이 점차 더 높아지고 있다. 그러나 환경에 대한 과잉 반응은 이러한 에너지의 생산과 분배를 방해하고 있다. 환경에 대한 진실은 무엇일까? 에너지가 필요한 전 세계 곳곳에 끼치는 영향은 무엇일까? |

가상 클러스터란 무엇인가? |

| 21세기, 기업들은 집중된 한 지역에서 신제품을 생산하기 위해 모든 자원과 전문가를 모을 필요가 없다. 대신 첨단 기술과 진보적인 비즈니스 관행을 활용해서 가상 클러스터(Virtual Cluster)를 만들 면 된다. 가상 클러스터는 대개 스킬을 겸비한 일시적인 업무상의 동맹관계이기 때문에 시장 기회를 활용할 수 있다. 하지만 지역을 바탕으로 한 경제적 클러스터와 달리 이런 클러스터는 가상이다. 즉 전 세계적으로 뻗어나간 조직이지만 컴퓨터 네트워크와 커뮤니케이션 기술로 이어져 있다.<br> |
