| 꽤 오랜 기간 미국은 환경, 사회, 거버넌스 문제에 대해 광범위하게 집중해왔다. 어떻게 보면 집착으로 보일 만큼의 이러한 집중이 미국 내 모든 인종의 국민들이 높은 생활수준을 누리는 데 필요한 부 창출 능력을 보장해주었을까? 아니면 그 반대였을까? 과거 미국의 전통적 가치와 비교해보면 어떨까? 아무래도 회의적인 부분이 존재하는 것 같다. 이에 오늘날 미국에서는 전통적 가치에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. |
